ENGINEERING DESIGN

Croft Contracting employs experienced engineers both in design and construct to offer effective well planned designs. All our designs are based on national standards coupled with knowledge from practices. Our engineering calculations lead to efficient equipment cooling capacity and right duct sizing.

DESIGN REVIEW

In the early stages of the project, our staff from estimation, engineering and the operation department collaborate to review the design prior to implementation. We liaise with suppliers to provide reliable information that leads to high quality designs and planning. The results are demonstrated by the seamless operation of the machinery when coupled with executing our supplied maintenance plan.

SERVICE COORDINATION

Our design drafting team prepare shop drawings for HVAC services from design drawing to concept design. Our qualified experts can trace potential clashes with other services and identify discrepancies in the specifications. We coordinate with other services in the 2D and 3D sphere to ensure we are developing clash free projects. This process is vital prior to installation as the shop drawings will be the reference point for tendering and manufacturing of ductwork and pipework.

TENDERING/ PROCUREMENT

An essential part of the process that when managed correctly, can greatly influence the completion times of the project. We ensure the delivery of equipment and materials with a lengthy lead-time will be delivered promptly. As we place high levels of importance on the target deadline, we offer a wide range of brands and suppliers that can deliver on time in case the preferred brand is not on hand.

OPERATION/ DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION

Our operation department consists of experienced project managers and skilled HVAC plumbers that guarantee safety and quality of the design implementation.

COMMISSIONING

We ensure that the HVAC system is working properly by conducting testing and commissioning. This is accompanied by externally certified people or organisations, which can validate and demonstrate the complicity of the HVAC system.
